Introduction
A friend of mine once said I should build a website with tips for DM's. I didn't think much of it at the time, but recently it has become clear that the vast stores of experience that are available really should be made public. I don't really care if anyone reads any of this, it's just making the knowledge available that's important. If people want to make use of it, that's great and I hope they thoroughly enjoy themselves doing it. I am not going to get into discussions with people on which way is better or faster or whatever. My intention is to present a kind of database of methods tools and pointers that both I, and my many roleplaying friends have come across in their many years as DM's and players.
I have attempted to present all this material in an orderly fashion, and as new ideas and concepts spring to mind, or I remember something I'd forgotten I'll add it to the site. If there are any DM's out there who feel I've missed out on something that really needs to be mentioned, then don't hesitate to contact me. It goes without saying that this site represents my vision on what a roleplaying game ought to be, and ultimately I decide what to represent and how. It's not open to discussion. Enjoy the site, for what it's worth and I hope it will be useful to someone somewhere.
